With the help of Steve,  we got the nursery bed mowed and it looked great.   Then a couple of nice fellas from the city volunteered to make it even better!!  WOW!  in short order it really looks nice.

Fall planting in nursery bed coming......

here are our trees from Whatcom Conservation District Plant Sale this spring .....lived in pots being herded and watered waiting for the fall rains to come..

We had a great trip to Mt.Vernon to the Urban Forestry Nursery and a nice visit with Newman.

Day of service in Ferndale....

October work party

Alcoa workers volunteered many hours and accomplished several great plantings and cleanups in Ferndale on this day of service for these community projects sponsored by the Ferndale Heritage Society.
